Maren + Alex | Engagement Session | Discovery Park

I don't need to go on another tirade again about how amazing it is to take photos of close friends going through different chapters in their lives. But I will. I have known Alex for decades, as we grew up together on the same block in South Seattle. We rode bikes together, wrestled, played sports, video games, you name it. So needless to say, it was an honor when he asked me to shoot an engagement session for him and his fiancé Maren. While I'm quite familiar with Discovery Park, this was Maren's first time checking it out. They were blessed with a beautiful summer evening. The skies were completely clear, the warm golden glow broke out, and we even had some of my favorite lighting, which is twilight/blue hour. You can never go wrong with that.I gotta say this couple is so good for each other, and you can just tell by the way they joked (or tried to) with each other while trekking through the whimsical fields and flowers. Congratulations to you two!
