Heather + Kaelon | Engagement Session | Discovery Park

2020 has been quite the year so far. In the midst of having to reschedule shoots, I'm still super grateful to have opportunities to go outdoors and take photos for couples. This was definitely the case working with Heather and Kaelon recently on their engagement session at Discovery Park.We walked through the fields as they both mentioned how they first met in California and knew shortly after that they wanted to be together. Now they they are fully immersed into the Pacific Northwest, it felt fitting to have their engagement session surrounded by tall grass, trails, looming trees, and a vast view of the water. I couldn't have asked for a better couple to shoot with out in nature after months of quarantine. Trekking along was fun, especially since Heather and Kaelon have such chemistry together. There were many moments where I just chilled back and let them do their thing, which resulted in some memorable laughter and smiles. I can't wait to shoot them again next year during their wedding!
