Carolyn + Michael | Wedding | Black Diamond Gardens

Michael is one of the most humble and down to earth guys I've ever met. He's funny, thoughtful, and it's evident that he has impacted so many people around him. I feel honored to have reconnected with him over the years and meeting his wife Carolyn. They got married on a beautiful warm day at Black Diamond Gardens in Black Diamond, WA, which is about a 40 minute drive from Seattle. The venue itself is pretty awesome, decked out with a intricate ceremony space along with an intimate and simplistic reception area, which resembles a greenhouse. The lighting during the reception time was perfect.More importantly, Carolyn and Michael's wedding had some of the most emotional moments I've captured in a while. In the following images, I wanted to highlight not just the "Pinterest-like" details, but also the raw emotions of this wedding day. Some of my favorite moments took place during their emotional ceremony. This was a great reminder that as a photographer, at the end of the day, I'm here to serve these wonderful clients, simply letting them go about their day in an authentic way. Congratulations to Carolyn and Michael!
